Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a financial reporting team, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting deliverables.
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with established accounting standards and internal governance requirements.
- Perform and oversee variance analysis and financial insights, clearly communicating key drivers and trends to senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance internal control activities within the reporting process; identify issues and implement effective remediation strategies.
- Partner closely with internal business, finance, and operational teams to support reporting objectives and data transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, standardization, and automation of reporting workflows.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit partners, supporting audits and responding to information requests as needed.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional development, technical excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit, including people or team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements, streamline reporting, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- High standards of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
