Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Woodworker to assist in the production and finishing of our handcrafted products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in craftsmanship, and appreciates high-quality, small-batch production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and other wood products
• Sand, glue, clamp, and finish hardwood pieces to a high standard
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely (table saw, planer, sander, etc.)
• Assist with laser engraving setup and basic operation (training provided if needed)
• Apply finishes (oiling, conditioning) and prepare products for shipment or pickup
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Support packaging and order fulfillment as needed

Qualifications

• Prior woodworking or hands-on experience preferred (hobbyists welcome)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow instructions and repeat processes consistently
• Comfortable working with tools and machinery (or willing to learn)
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time: 10-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
• Hourly pay based on experience
