This role plays a vital part in fostering a safe, respectful, and educational campus environment by supporting the daily operations of the student conduct process. The Coordinator assists with case management, student outreach, and educational programming related to community standards, emphasizing fairness, accountability, and student development.

 

This highly student-facing position in Omaha, NE contributes to maintaining a positive campus climate and ensures institutional policies are implemented consistently and equitably. Must have great interest in the development of the students. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Case Management

  • Review and assess incident reports and manage student conduct cases.

  • Coordinate communication, scheduling, and follow-up with students involved in the conduct process.

  • Facilitate conduct meetings, hearings, and investigations to ensure fair, impartial, and educational outcomes.

  • Assign and track outcomes or sanctions in accordance with institutional policy.

 

Data & Process Management

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student conduct cases.

  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and support process improvement.

  • Conduct regular data audits and prepare reports for internal assessment and compliance needs.

 

Education & Outreach

  • Develop and implement educational programs and workshops that promote community standards, ethical decision-making, and responsible behavior.

  • Collaborate with departments such as Fraternity and Sorority Life, Residence Life, and Student Involvement to support prevention education and manage related conduct cases.

  • Serve as a resource for students on topics including alcohol and drug misuse, conflict resolution, and community expectations.

  • Assist with mediation and conflict resolution among students and student groups.

 

Community Engagement

  • Support proactive programming to promote a safe and inclusive campus environment.

  • Participate in student life activities and collaborate with campus partners to enhance student well-being and accountability.
