Job Title: Marketing Manager – Agriculture & Farming Division

Job Overview:

Legacy Coop is hiring a Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing efforts for our agriculture and farming division. You’ll manage campaigns, sales enablement, and messaging across digital, print, field events, and partner communications.

This position is full-time and comes with Legacy Coop's full-time benefits package including retirement, 401K, holiday, vacation, and sick time, as well as competitive pay.  This position is ON SITE/ IN PERSON so the ideal candidate lives in or around Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Lead and execute marketing strategies for ag services, products, and programs to support grower relationships and sales goals
  • Collaborate closely with sales and agronomy teams to understand local grower needs and align messaging accordingly
  • Build annual marketing calendars that include seasonal campaigns, events, radio, in-store materials, and digital communications
  • Coordinate the production of marketing assets including flyers, emails, social content, in-store signage, and print collateral
  • Use market research, customer feedback, and sales data to inform positioning and identify growth opportunities
  • Work with finance and procurement to help optimize pricing strategies and value propositioning
  • Support product launches with go-to-market planning, campaign execution, and internal training materials
  • Coordinate field events, sponsorships, and seasonal promotions that build brand awareness and drive foot traffic
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance—tracking lead generation, conversion, engagement, and ROI
  • Maintain consistency of brand voice, tone, and design across all ag-related communications
  • Partner with creative and digital teams to improve Legacy’s presence across platforms including website, social, radio, and YouTube

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or ag sales, product management, or go-to-market strategy, ideally in agriculture, agronomy, seed, or crop protection
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Communications, or related field
  • Proven ability to translate complex ag offerings into compelling, easy-to-understand messaging
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams, agronomists, and channel partners
  • Familiarity with key marketing models (e.g., Value Chain Analysis, Porter's 5 Forces, Value Proposition Canvas)
  • Strong writing and editing skills for both internal and customer-facing communications
  • Detail-oriented and data-savvy with solid project management experience
  • Comfortable juggling multiple seasonal campaigns and shifting priorities
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Canva, Salesforce, or equivalent tools
  • Deep understanding of the rural/agricultural audience and what drives decision-making in those markets

Bonus Points For:

  • Background in farming, agronomy, or ag retail sales
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation tools or CRM-driven marketing
  • Prior experience working with co-ops, seed dealers, or ag distributor
